Our offline facility consists of seven light and airy edit suites, all with both wired and wireless internet access, plus a dedicated machine and support room, all under the care of the offline support team.
We can provide either Avid Media Composer or Final Cut Studio in every room. Each room is fitted with either a CRT or flat screen LCD preview monitor, a sound mixer, amp and speakers, commentary recording microphone and dual TFTs.
The latest addition to our offline department is a 64TB ISIS 5000 shared storage server from Avid. This allows simultaneous support for Final Cut and Avid based projects, and can be accessed from all offline suites, as well as our conform and online suites, allowing for a swift transition from offline to further post. We can provide logging stations to enable director and editor to work from the same media (even the same project) to expedite the progression of your edit.
We can accommodate all aspects of the offline process – from digitising of tapes and ingesting of file-based rushes, to media management, right up to seamless end-of-edit delivery to our sound, grading and online departments. Along the way, we can provide DVD playouts, quicktime exports and internet uploads for off-site reviews.
